“Standing on the edge of a melting glacier in Greenland, I listened as an elder shared stories of a time when the ice was eternal. Moments like these fuel my passion to bring these vital stories to the world.”
In my work as a cultural geographer and documentarian, I journey to the world’s most remote communities to tell their often unheard stories as they navigate the profound impacts of climate change, global development, and evolving policies. With a master’s degree in Cultural Geography and over 20 years of experience as an executive in international sustainability, I bring a unique perspective to the intersection of environmental shifts and cultural resilience, focusing especially on the Arctic and mountain regions.
My research is driven by a deep respect for cultural diversity and a belief in the power of Indigenous Knowledge to inform our response to global environmental challenges. Despite their geographical isolation, these communities are profoundly tied to global shifts, and I see it as my role to bring their voices and perspectives to a wider audience.
Across the globe, from the icy expanses of the Arctic to the towering peaks of remote mountain ranges, indigenous and remote communities are the first to feel the effects of climate change and geopolitical shifts. These challenges threaten their traditional ways of life but also highlight their incredible resilience and adaptability. By sharing their stories, we can better understand the interconnectedness of our world and the importance of preserving both cultural heritage and the environment.

Documentaries
The End of The Road chronicles my journey through Bhutan’s rugged terrain to the remote village of Merak, home to the Brokpa people. As I navigated challenging mountain passes and valleys, I was deeply moved by their vibrant culture and their struggle to adapt in a world we’re inadvertently reshaping. The documentary highlights the profound interconnectedness between our lives and those of isolated communities facing the immediate impacts of climate change and modernization.
By bringing the stories of the Brokpa into the living rooms of the world, my aim is to illuminate the realities they face—experiences not captured by headlines but lived daily. The End of The Road is about our collective journey toward a more empathetic understanding of our planet and ourselves, urging us to reflect on our shared responsibility in a rapidly transforming global environment.
Building on the success of the documentary, an adventure travel series is in development. This series will continue to explore unique cultures, document never-before-seen relics and rituals, and amplify the invaluable insights, wisdom, and voices of Indigenous communities. Additionally, a feature-length documentary is planned—a global overlanding excursion exploring climate change’s impact on the environment and cultures in the Arctic.
